The stone displays that signature Flintridge palette: cool aqua-green and blue-gray swirling through creamy white, punctuated by vivid iron-oxide rust staining that gives this piece a wild, painterly energy. No two Flintridge pieces ever look alike, and this one is exceptional.
At 3? inches, it's a solid, substantial Dovetail with a well-defined basal notch, a symmetrical blade, and the kind of smooth, controlled flaking across the face that marks an experienced hand.
