This modern Dovetail is knapped from genuine Flintridge flint, showcasing that unmistakable swirling palette of teal, cream, and iron-red that makes Ohio's premier flint so sought after by knappers and collectors alike.
The form is faithful to the Early Archaic original — lanceolate blade, clean basal notches, and a nicely splayed, thinned base. Flaking is bold and controlled across the face, with good symmetry and a sharp, intact tip. At 5 inches it has real presence in the hand.
