Up for sale is an eye-catching 3 1/16" Dovetail by Phil Love, crafted from exceptional Flintridge Flint.
This piece is all about the material. It features a rich, mossy green translucent base that transitions into a bold cream band running through the center, heavily accented with red and pink speckling. The contrast and movement are outstanding—one of those pieces that changes character as you turn it in the light.
Workmanship matches the stone. Clean, confident flaking with good flow across the faces, tight edge work, and a well-executed Dovetail base with defined ears. The overall form is balanced and true, giving it strong display presence. |
