Here is a rare, extra-large piece of beautiful green Flintridge flint. The green base with cream and red/pink swirls is exceptional—classic “mossy” Flintridge, with a striking transition into the reddish cortex that really makes it pop.
The blade shows very clean pressure flaking with even, well-rhythmed scars, and strong edge symmetry—especially impressive at this size. There are no obvious step fractures or hinges, which is difficult to achieve on a piece this wide.
Overall, a large, well-executed piece where both the material and craftsmanship stand out. |
