Phil Love again, and the material on this one is absolutely stunning. That translucent aqua-green Flintridge flint is some of the prettiest the ridge produces, and this piece has a wild streak of rusty orange cortex blazing through the base — nature's own two-tone paint job, and Phil worked it perfectly, letting that color contrast become part of the composition.
The base notches are crisp and even, the blade is nicely serrated with fine pressure work along both edges, and the triangular form is tight and symmetrical. At just under 3 inches it's compact but punchy — exactly the kind of piece that looks great in a display case alongside larger points.
Clean, colorful, and well-executed. Phil's Flintridge work is always in demand and this one won't sit long.
