Been a lot of inquiry on this so here's another one. A while back someone sent me a photo of an eccentric Cahokia point that had just been found. I’ve never seen one quite like this,even from the large Cahokia collection of points from the excavations. The material on this point is colorful, Flint Ridge, with bluish and cream coloration to it. It would almost be something one would expect to see from the Oklahoma Spiro mounds, but it was a Cahokia local find. |
