Made by one of the best knappers in Ohio, this Dovetail has it all! Ed Moreland made this point from multicolored Flint Ridge Flint. The vein of green that runs down the center is lined by blood red splotches and dots. The workmanship is excellent; the base, body, cross-section and edges are all correct for the type. The base is ground and the notching is near perfect. Signed and dated by this widely collected knapper. |
