This point was made to be an Angostura point which is an early paleo/early archaic point common in the Northern Plains. But down in the great Basin they'd called Humbolt points so take your pick. this one is made from a dark honey colored flint from Montana that resembles knife river flint but is much darker. The pics don't do it justice. Nice ribbon flaking. |
