This is a unique but pratical corner-tang knife. A very sharp, thin, and serrated Oklahoma Chert blade. It is white with some reddish streaks. It has been hafted to a naturally curved Whitetail deer antler tine with natural elk sinew. There is a wrapping of soft buckskin around the handle. This was made to represent an actual use of a corner-tang knife with a handle. The purpose of fashioning a knife with a tang in the corner is for using both downward and forward thrust, such as slicing meat and/or animal hides. Just like our butcher knives.
The stand is made from a piece of knotty barn-wood with a 2-point tine to prop it up. A matching strip of buckskin is wrapped around the base. A very pretty piece for display.
