This nice Columbia River style point is one of the high points of a style of a type they once made on our big NW river. This one is made out of a whitish and light reddish brown tinted agate from the Columbia Plateau I think. The old ones really did have this shape and fine serrations and beautiful sweeping barbs. Many had a basal notch probably for helping thin the base for hafting Been busy with other orders of late so I've not had time to post any new points but here's a new one. |
