This style of point is actually a Columbia Plateau type version of Elko points from the great basin. They tend to be a bit smaller and are often serrated and were atlatl dart points rather than arrow points. This one is made out of a heat treated Columbia River region translucent agate sometimes called Wascoite, or , Wascolite depending one ones prounouciation.
