This Pinetree style point is made out of a crazy beautiful colored piece of Flint Ridge. It’s sports blue, orange, and rust red colors like a kaleidoscope. It’s hard to get material this colorful. I percussion flaked this down from a spall then pressure flaked it to finish the old way. I wanted to leave it as large as possible to show off all the colors so a pine tree points seemed like the best solution. Nice sharp serrations and tip. Here’s one for you eastern point collectors. |
