This point started out much bigger but unfortunately, there were some hidden crystsl pockets hiding inside that I discovered the hard way, so I had to change the outcome several times. Still, this cute little thin, desert side notch point was the result. This is made of reddish and greenish Ohio Flint Ridge. I actually got to examine some original points made much like this one. They were found in a late period site that had flattened square nails that were used for flaking tools along with later trade goods and beads in the site. The original points are usually quite small often under an inch. |
