A nicely done Clovis by Steve Behrnes. Steve is a well-known, master flint knapper from Louisiana. Beautiful oblique parallel flaking and nice even flutes. The material is Oregon Sunset jasper. The color is dark orange with yellow at the base. We purchased the point from Steve at the Maxdale Knap-in, March 1998. Knapped March, 1998. Inv # 9803-30R |
