This Ishi point is modeled after ones Ishi made when he lived at the San Francisco museum after coming out of his home land wild country. I got to photograph and examine some up close and personal a number of years ago in the Hearst Museum at UC Berkeley. Its made out of a piece of decades old glass I scavenged out of an old ranch dump very much like the points he made at the museum from 1911 until his passing in 1916. Wish I could have met him. |
