This one of a kind tomahawk was made from an Elk leg bone (metacarpal) and a rugged and well formed percussion flaked stone head made from a piece of Texas flint. The blade has been meticulously set through the bone and secured on the inside. There is a black buckskin wrap around the handle for a sure grip. The wrist-strap is adorned with wooden trade beads and has two beaded feather strands with 5 genuine Crow feathers. The stand has a large naturally dark colored 5-point antler with long tines that adds a beautiful visual flow to the piece. The Tomahawk rests securely on the stand. The bottom has soft padding to prevent scratching of furniture. This piece was made to last for generations.
