Deep and brilliant red Carnelian Agate from Brazil is the material for this well balanced Bifurcated/Eared Corner Notch. Smooth surface, no flaws, great gloss. Carnelian has always been a real eye catcher to me.
Direct percussion out of the cobble with solid copper round/rod, regularized further with indirect, and finished with pressure.
