This long delicate point is a type of Northern Side Notch point occasionally found in Oregon's desert Warner Valley. It is made from a rare banded piece of what is called Burns Green Obsidian and is greenish and black with a streak of what is called 'electric blue' in the center. I doubt I can ever get any more of this type of obsidian once I am out of it. Long needle tip, serrated edges and expanding notches. This point has all the bells and whistles of this style. |
