Decided to do some 'old world' points this week. This is a Western European Bronze age point style called an Armorican point of a type that's found in Brittany France. This type known as the Limbabu type were made with deep notches from the base and a long pointed tang. This one is made out of a brownish purple jasper that comes from just south of the Columbia River in Oregon |
