This blade, knapped masterfully by Cliff Carney, goes way back to the Day of Big Yeller, a rock I purchased from Glen Archer 8 or 9 years past.
I sold the knife originally hafted in antler and then it found it's way back to me. Decided it needed something more exciting, so it's now hafted to one of the rarest exotic woods on the planet, Kingwood......named so as it's the wood which Louis the IV had his furniture made from.
It's now close to impossible to this rare wood, especially of such a high quality.....and it's purple! |
