Braintan Buckskin that I tanned with a dozen eggs, heavy rawhide insert, (insert held together with brass tacks so not to let blade cut sinew). Beadwork was done by me, I used Lt.Blue,Yellow,Black,Dk. Blue,translucent Cobalt Blue,and Orange, bead size is 10/0 and is done in the beading style as I seen on the old one where I found the inspiration for this peice. Edge work is done in the"Tighter Style" with size 8/0 Yellow beads. Tassels are 6" (and can be easily removed if you would like) there are 12 tin cones all together. Knife is old style butcher and is 12&1/2"overall.Belt loop on the back is heavy rawhide covered with braintan buckskin. Sewn with two sizes of artificial sinew. Can't beat the price for what you are getting. |
