The deep rich purplish blue glow on this arrowhead almost blends with the mottled black. The beauty of dichroic glass always reminds me of precious opal.
I hand craft each piece of glass before flintknapping it into art work that is frame-able (for collectors) or wear-able (as a necklace pendant ... the edges have been dulled). Normally artists would sell the piece of unknapped glass blank for about $45.00, but I'm able to reduce the price by creating the glass blanks myself and pass along the savings to you. This arrowhead is reversible also (a deep rich mottled color on one side and a glassy obsidian-like look to the other side).
