If you like the photo of the arrowhead on my gallery thumbnail/header, then you'll LOVE this arrowhead! It is definitely a museum quality piece!
This glossy Brazilian Agate Gem Point has several colors banded through out the piece, giving it a dramatic appearance. The orangish red carnelian in it almost "glows", and the Columbia Plateau Point style is a classic. I enjoy working with agate like this, because it holds up to the most delicate needle like tips and finely serrated edge work. As with all of my flintknapped lithic art, this one has been signed and dated with a diamond tipped scribe.
