I find blades with wide bases and rounded tips like this on the sites I hunt around here the rounded tips are for knife use and thay are always made of raw materials like cherts, Coshocton or Mercer. This blade is made from raw uncooked Nethers Flintridge chipped with antler tine it was a nice palm sized spall I dug in November 15`. Blade is razor sharp,base is ground and I left some cortex on the blade also. Really sweet replica of this type of blade.
