The blade is a mexican obsidian that only reveals color in the brightest of light....far brighter than I can produce with the florescents the pics were taken under. The handle is an old weathered antler shed with lots of rugged character... to me its a presentation of past and present coming together...old and new....ancient and modern together. This is a great piece!!
