I had a number of extra Columbia River points that I made for the Knapping calendar that didn't end up in the photo shoot so here's one of them. This is basically an Elko point but on the Columbia River and the plateau they got named "Snake River Dart" points...which is kinda silly since is just a Columbia Plateau version of a very common great basin Elko point. This one is made out of VERY beautiful banded Sunset jasp-agate and is serrated like some of the old ones were. I included a back lit photo but it doesn't do it justice. This material is really hard to get anymore.
