This point doesn't have what I would consider my best flaking on it because I had to tip toe around so many stubborn crystal pockets in it. However....the flame scarlet and clear agate colors cancels that out and the color speaks for itself. This is really pretty rock and I'm not sure where its from . This is a typically sized Columbia plateau point with swept wings and a notch in the base which was common and probably done more to thin out the stem for hafting into an arrow notch. It would have been longer..........but I hit a crystal pocket ....sigh. Still turned out pretty snazzy though. |
