I got started in archaeology during childhood. My grandfather and I would go out rock collecting on the farm. It wasn't long till I found my first arrowhead. After that first discovery, I became very interested in Ohio archaeology and met a flintknapper who taught me the basics. I went to my first Knap-In at Flint Ridge. Here, I watched several knappers do their thing, got some tips, and made some great friends over the years. Today, I'm a archaeology consultant working in land managment.
