I wanted to make a knife where I pulled out all the stops & didn’t hold back on any effort or expense. Here it is! You’re getting size, exquisite materials, Style, comfort & balance, & a harmony of color. Fit & finish was accomplished under a magnifying lens. The big Bowie blade is awesome, & copper tones permeate throughout all parts of the knife. It starts with a prime Elk stag antler handle – done up & stabilized in sunburst “amber stag”….cream, yellow, red, & brown. Finger grips have been carefully added in just the right places. Copper & other spacers tie-in the pommel cap – which is a choice piece of fossilized coral. A very tight epoxied fit at all places. The blade is flaked to perfection out of a 60+ year old slab of vitrified structural glass. (Nearly as hard & shiny as obsidian). I fashioned the stand out of pine wood & it is texture-painted. The rear prop has a nice design of silver tone accents. (I normally sell my “WA” key chains for $10.00, but I am throwing one in with this ensemble at no charge - It also has the “amber stag” treatment to match the match the knife). All is hand rubbed & polished to a high luster – with nary a scratch anywhere. You will not be disappointed! |
