I think the material this Northern side notch and serrated point is made out of is Rainy Buttes picture jasper from the eastern Oregon Owyhee country. Its super tough and is like pressure flaking a piece of brick! But,.... the results are well worth it with the wild splotches of color scattered around in it. The pics don't quite do the color justice but you get the idea. |
