Check this one out! As is usual with my work, you get classy & rustic mixed together. This piece of choice Elk stag has been sent away for color treatment & stabilization. The “amber stag” treatment goes to the core & creates a 4-tone sunburst effect (black, red, orange & then yellow) as the surface is worked. It reminds me of a very old, worn-in piece of stag or even a fossilized dinosaur bone. It’s knobby & has great purchase. It’s capped off with a section of antique red-swirl bakelite, & a piece of jade-green agate stone. I’ve pre-slotted it for your blade. It’s 5” long. (I will need an additional $5.00 for shipping & insurance). Save that special blade you have set aside for this one!! |
