This may be your only opportunity to own a knife created by myself and the late Bennett Adams. Bennett and I made 25 knives together; each one’s creation based on a theme. This knife and pipe combination is called “Howlers Cage”. The handle is made from Walrus Oosik and the blade is made from Madagascar Chocolate Jasper. The story surrounding this piece is that lost souls are being held by two armored guards whose hands and feet are joined on either side of the knife. The only escape for the souls is thru the pipe; traveling to the lungs and then ultimately breathed out toward the heavens. Keep in mind that Bennett was carving this story into solid ivory; meaning that every nick, crack and scratch you see was made by him. He stained, oiled and waxed the ivory giving the handle an aged look of thousands of years. This knife/ pipe combination is three dimensional and carved in bias relief. Bennett passed away from cancer about two years ago and his creative expertise is missed by many.
