Here's another fur trade era knife. This one was made to look old as well. It has a hand forged 8 inch blade hafted to a cherry handle with gut. The aged brass tacks adorn the haft area and the butt area of the knife. The brass tacks are purposely stressed and uneven in places to duplicate the period work. The butt of the knife has a bear effigy in the Iroquois style. These knives are generally snapped up by customers before ever being generally offered so get it while it's just listed. |
