This Dalton was made from raw Pedernales flint, really super strong high quality rock! Bifaced out with hammerstones followed by antler punch to get a smooth preform. Pressure flaking was done with copper, one pass base to tip, both right edges followed by both left edges, minimal retouch. A fine replica of the originals! |
