Here’s one that’s a little different & will help you create a unique knife for your collection! I procured the handle on this one from an antique kitchen carving knife. It looks to be old bakelite plastic, but I’m not sure. It’s black, but it’s been carved to simulate deer stag…? (Cool)!! I’ve mounted the guard & spacers with a hardwood pin – for strength. Spacers are figured maple & black & white fiber board. The guard is African Wenge (wood). All is sanded, buffed & finished. All that is needed from you is to drill a hole in the end & glue-in your favorite knife blade. The handle is 5” long. (Please add $4.00 for shipping & insurance). |
