Offering up a SUPER knife. Using true f.o.g technique I chipped the blade with rare precision and left the edges thin and sharp--sharper than the majority of similar technique knappers. I have a reputation for producing this rarity from way back in 1996--sharp enough to cut industrial leather with very uniform flaking. The mahogany obsidian (tri-flow in this case) has a fine mix and pleasing pattern of the three colors and was shaped into a slight clip point. The antler tip of the handle (if one chose to do so) could be sharpened to make a leather punch. This knife is 8 1/4 inches measured in a straight line from tip to tip. (2 3/4" blade). This is a very nice reasonably priced piece and would make a nice gift or collect for yourself. |
