One of the things I like to do is describe my pieces.... I have been falling short of that lately. Here is a sweet Mini knife I made recently. I used root beer colored agate from my friend Grady Bowen who heat treated it for me and made it knappable.. I chipped away at this one to form the clip point style with sharp edges (my blades are sharper than most) and with even parallel flakes that run from edge to center in one shot. The handle is a nice looking deer antler tip from a naturally shed antler. This piece has a nice curve and shine to it...very clean. I wrapped the haft with gold color sinew with accent to complete the ensemble.
You cant go wrong buying from me. My blades are truly sharp with amazing flaking pattern and an overall flow that only a few flintknappers have the eye and ability to produce. My work have been collected world wide since 1997 starting in the Figi Islands. |
