This is a large piece for Coshocton (or Upper Mercer) flint, you won't find many pieces for sale this size in this flint. As with so much of this kind of flint, there is a layer on the B side in the base end where the flakes jumped over and there wasn't enough thickness left to try to get below the line. Still came out really well over all though. |
