Killer Clovis point, knapped from a great piece of Georgetown,TX flint. Beautifully crafted with nice overshot flaking on both faces of the point. Fluting extends half the points length on both faces and was done with indirect percussion. Love how the initialed side shows just three main flakes and how the flute feathers out into the big over-shot flake in the middle of the point. A lot of things went right with this bad boy. |
