Knapperdon

My name is Knapperdon AKA [Don Wilcox]. I live in North Tennessee. I live on the Tennessee River. I have been making Primitive Tools and Weapons since the age of 10. I started getting serious about Knapping in the early 1990s. I mainly use copper however I can also knap with abo tools.
My favorite stone is a variety of Buffalo River called Painted Buffalo. I have been gathering and working this stone for more than 10 years. I still get surprised by the different colors and patterns in the Painted Buffalo river material. This is a rare stone and a small outcrop. Some of the patterns and colors are very rare. I am also known for Knapped Animal effigy's, knives, and some Horn Carvings, Scrimshaw. I do sign and date all of my work.
