Painted Sky Weapons offers "One of a Kind" weapons for those who seek to create a weapon to their own specification, as well as my own personal designs. I have been knapping for over 14 years and a current member of the Utah Valley Knapping Association & Chapter Associate Adviser in the 'Order of the Arrow'. I will construct any of the following items for Ceremonies, Display, or for practical use for hunting: Spears, Hawks, Bows, Arrows, Knives and blades of many shapes. I use all natural materials, with the exception of artificial sinew (when natural sinew isn’t available). My arrows are exclusively local Wild Rose wood shafts, using either Goose or Turkey fletching. My arrows are predominantly in Utah, but have gone to CA, ID, MT, WY & Japan. As of 10/2012, I have constructed 436 standard, decorative and ceremonial Arrows (all are numbered, dated and signed), 4 Spears, 8 Hawks, 5 Bows, and over 55 Knives (Should have kept better track of the first of them . . .). |
