Indian lore often refers to "peace pipes", and here is a good representation of one. At 18 inches long, this museum quality reproduction would look good tucked into the belt of an Indian re-enactor. With over 60 brass tacks, there is a lot of hours into aging each one with it's own right patina. The handle is ash from NY, and the mouthpiece is made from bone. The head is 7 inches tall with a pipe bowl that unscrews like the originals. There are file grooves and punch marks on the head & bowl. Many hours were poured into it and it will go in my personal collection if it does not sell.
Don't miss this one, because I don't let many this nice out of my personal collection. As you can see, I sell my tomahawks as fast as I can make them due to the quality and the fact that my hawks are hundreds below the market price for museum quality replicas. |
